Adobe is planning critical system maintenance on February 14th.

On February 14th, from 1:00 UTC to 7:00 UTC, all services will be unavailable.

This will affect all those who have their Marketo instance on the San Jose data server.

Here are instructions on how to mitigate any impact on your business:

  • Avoid creating or updating People records or any processes that generate or modify People records.
  • Do not trigger any follow-on processes during this time, as all scheduled campaigns will be paused.
  • Temporarily disable active integrations that send data to or receive data from Marketo Engage.
  • Do not initiate any data imports, exports, or transfers into your instance during scheduled downtime.
  • Avoid running major lead generation campaigns during the maintenance window to minimize impact.

Note: This info came straight from an official Adobe post ⬇️

If you’re not sure whether or not your Marketo instance is on the San Jose server, here’s how to check:

1. Navigate to Admin -> LaunchPoint

2. Select any service -> click “View Details”

3. Click the “GET TOKEN” button. Look at the two-letter abbreviation after the “:” in the token.

We have “:ab” in the screenshot below.

But if you have “:sj”, you’re on the San Jose server and will be affected by this system maintenance.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding this Marketo system maintenance, feel free to reach out to us here.
